Wind Warning for Mayo - 06/04/2018

 

Dear Customers

Met Eireann have issued a yellow weather warning for high winds in the Mayo area.  We will update our website page if we have any interruptions or changes to our bus services. Please take care travelling this weekend.

We expect our services to run as scheduled Saturday the 3rd March with the exception of the following ones which have been cancelled:

3125 Achill South East Currane to Castlebar

3127 Achill North West Dooagh Keel to Castlebar.

Local link Mayo are pleased to announce the following Restructured Routes Commencing January 2018 (Operated by Arrow Cabs):

  • Lahardaun to Ballina with 3 main designated stops in between (please see timetable attached)
  • Ballycastle to Ballina with 4 main designated stops in between (please see timetable attached)

restructered route 820, lahardane –  castlebar service

Local link Mayo are pleased to announce the following Restructured Route Commencing December 2017:

Friday weekly service from Lahardane to Castlebar (operated by Mark Evans T/A GolfMayo ) with 3 designated stops in between and calling at locations Massbrook, Parke/Turlough, Crimlin – (door to door pick up – on demand service)  Services to commence Friday the 1st of December 2017

New Route 804, Rossport –  Belmullet service

Local link Mayo are pleased to announce the following New Route Commencing December 2017:

 Monday to Thursday weekly service from Rossport to Belmullet (operated by Malachy Gaughan) with 6 designated stops in between and calling at locations including Aughoose, Pullathomas, Glencad, Inver, Barnatra, Glencastle Services to commence Monday the 4th of December 2017

The National Transport Authority (NTA)  have requested that each Transport Coordination Unit in the country , of which Mayo Community Transport is one,  to  notify all registered operators with the Road Transport Operator Licensing Section in Galway of an upcoming tender process which will be completed through E-Tenders.
